About

We are excited to partner with Diversity & Inclusion to host a book discussion on antiracism.  The book we will be discussing is Ibrahim Kendi’s “How to be an Antiracist”.

We have scheduled three sessions on March 1st, March 15th and April 5th at 6:00PM for the book discussion. We are dividing the book in three sections (Chapters 1-6: March 1st, Chapters 7-12: March 15th, and Chapters 13-18: April 5th) and we ask you to commit to two of the three sessions if you choose to participate in the book discussion.

Of course you are welcome to participate in all three sessions.
We will provide you free electronic access to the book once you sign up.

The topic covered in the discussion is relevant to our CEL priorities and the sessions will be counted towards your CEL hours.

Please register here by Friday (February, 26th) to get a free electronic copy of the book and participate: https://aap.events/howtobeanantiracist

Please contact Mekbib Gemeda (gemedam@evms.edu) if you have any questions.
