Hello REVIVE! members,
Here’s an exciting opportunity to lead a lay rescuer training session at Christopher Newport University (CNU) on January 21st @ 4pm. CNU would like to collaborate with EVMS to administer a training session for about 10-20 members of their social work association. This is a great opportunity to practice training as well as work on leadership skills! There will be at least one of the REVIVE! Team leads in attendance so you will have assistance with setting up, etc.
This is an (in-person) event held at CNU and gas reimbursement will be provided. Proper social distancing will also be in effect. If anyone would like to attend and have limited transportation please let us know and we can try to arrange a car pool. The time is scheduled from 3-7pm however, the actual start time is 4pm and it shouldn’t last longer than 2 hours (counting as 4 total credit hours). Lastly, this event will require 1-2 volunteer participants leading the session with prior lay-rescuer training completion.
