    Global Health Journal Club: On Suffering and Structural Violence

    This journal club was a rich discussion on stories and factors that impact suffering and systemic structural violence. I was reminded of the importance of looking at patients in context of the structures influencing their health, especially communities disadvantaged and harmed by societal systems.

    Women's Health Fair in Partnership with VDH and HCC (large van, warehouse, supplies)

    I assisted with patient education on blood pressure, hemoglobin A1C, and cholesterol results. It was rewarding and eye opening to be a part of providing resources to community members. This was a great event for improving the health of the community!
