Monarch Gives Back Drive Challenge

Monarchs Give Back is a joint campus and community-wide food drive to benefit Norfolk Public Schools children experiencing food insecurity, our own “Monarch Pantry,” right here on campus, and the Foodbank of Southeastern VA. This annual effort not only highlights the University's commitment to partner with the Hampton Roads community, but also shows the care and compassion of our University and the 757 as we come together to provide support.

This year, the goal is to collect 40,000 non-perishable items/monetary donations to benefit Norfolk Public Schools, ODU’s Monarch Pantry, and the Foodbank of Southeastern VA

We will be accepting food items as well as school supplies.

The RED Donation bins for students will be located in Waitzer Hall, Lewis Hall, and Lester Hall.

Scan the QR code beside each to enter the quantity of items you are giving and earn hours for the donation. 

1 box/jar of food = 1 hour

4 cans of fruit/vegetables = 1 hour

2 toiletry items = 1 hour
